Marvin Eugene Main, 77 of Abilene Kansas entered eternal rest on November 5, 2023 in Lincoln, Nebraska surrounded by his children. Born February 7, 1946 to James Main and Mary Stout. He grew up in Topeka, Kansas and helped his dad remodel houses. Later he would drive a semi for Coca-Cola and mayflower around 1976 he joined the army. He was stationed at Fort Riley, where he was a jack of all trades at ECS 33. Everything from track vehicles, diesel engines, generator and the actual facility itself. If it needed done, Marvin was the man for the job! Not only was he an inspector he was an instructor with the 5047th transportation school in Topeka as well. Marvin traveled all over the US teaching soldiers. Everyone who crossed paths with Marvin left with a lesson learned. His personality was out of this world and his laugh was contagious. No one walked away without a smile.

Marvin precedent death by his mother, Mary Stout, his father, James Main, brother Jimmy Main. Brother-in-law Toby Tobin, nephew, Randy Main and “little” Jimmy Main.

He is survived by his four children Gene Main, Lincoln, NB, Joey Main, Abilene KS, Josh Main, Abilene KS, Jenny Main Seneca, KS. 12 grandchildren and one Great Grandson and his sisters Lynda Devlin Topeka Mary Kay Schultz Topeka Marjorie Tobin Oskaloosa.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment with military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Topeka. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
