Rosella “Rose” Sill, 87, of Topeka, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, KS.

She was born May 5, 1936, in Burlington, KS, the daughter of Edward and Maude (Davidson) Roberts. She graduated from Lebo High School in 1954.

Rose was a member of the United Methodist Church and attended the Second Presbyterian Church.

Rose married Al Sill on September 2, 1955 in Lebo, KS. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2008.

Survivors include children Pam Sill, Alan Sill (Donna), Diane Brees (Ron), grandchildren Alaina Sill, Adam Sill (Lindsey), Taryn Brees Titus (Weston), and Olivia Brees, great-grandchildren Bronson Sill and Rowan Sill, and brother Jimmy Roberts.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Amber Brees, brother Ed Roberts, and sisters Dolly Wilson, JoAnn Cochran, Irene Ortiz.

Rose loved her family and friends and never knew a stranger. She enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished seamstress creating many works of art. She was an amazing mother to her children always involved in their sports activities, Scouts and 4-H. She was an avid golfer making 2 Hole-In-Ones in a single summer. Rose and Al enjoyed their retirement years as winter Texans and spent time traveling and camping.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Parker Price. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00a.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Lincoln Cemetery, Lebo, KS 66856.
