Ira Samuel Price, Jr. 77, of Topeka, passed away on August 19, 2023 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

Ira was born on June 5, 1946 to Ira and Elizabeth (Burghart) Price in Topeka, Kansas.

Ira worked at Hallmark Cards in Topeka as a foil stamp press operator for over 34 years before retiring.

Ira married Dixie (Marconett) on June 4, 1977 in Topeka at Assumption Catholic Church. Together they beautifully blended their families.

Ira loved to be outside. He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, trap and sporting clay shooting, and just shooting guns in general. He was a family man that loved to spend quality time with his loved ones and friends. He was a proud retiree that adored camping with his wife and kids. He enjoyed fixing things, and he could fix just about anything. And he always had to have the newest gadgets in the market to brag to his friends about.

Ira is survived by his loving wife, Dixie; children, Shane M. Price, Damien M. Price, and Austin (Laurie) S. Price; and a host of special family members and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Parker Price Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am. Inurnment will take place at Rochester Cemetery at a later date.
