Frances Ann Zachariasen Casey Brown, 90, of Topeka, passed away on May 22, 2023 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

Fran was born on October 31, 1932 to Roy and Blanche (Francis) Zachariasen in Hoyt, Kansas. She was raised on a farm and was a graduate of Hoyt High School in 1950.

Fran worked at Wentz Equipment for a few years than went to work at Midwest Machine (later Kopp) as a bookkeeper. After 25 years, she retired in 1997.

She married Robert G. Wyatt and to that union, three children were born. They later divorced. She then married Keith H. Casey, her love of 29 years. “He took my children and grandchildren in as if they were his own, there was much love between them”. He passed away in 1997. She then married William F. Brown and he passed away in 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Vada (Bernard) Fordice and Mildred (Russell) Pasley.

Fran is survived by her loving children, Marc E. (Stephanie Morrissey) Wyatt, Tina L. (Rick Hernandez) Gooden, and Becky J. (Ric) Woodyard; two brothers, Delbert Zachariasen and Vernice (Karen) Zachariasen; six grandchildren, Jerad (Cindy Maples), Nicole, Austin (Melissa), Casey Ann (Michael), Aaric (Morgan), and Cole; seven great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Makenzie, Zoey, Jersey, Jordyn, Juno; many nieces and nephews and extended family that she loved very much.

She bowled in many leagues and tournaments and still was bowling at the age of 88. She was an avid KU fan and loved to watch Aaric and Cole play baseball. She loved life, her home, and most of all, her family and friends.

Visitation where family will greet friends, will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parker Price Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 10:00 am at Parker Price Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will follow at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
