Fred was married to Gisela and divorced. Fred later married Anna (Hendrickson) on April 29, 2000.
Fred was raised in Rock Springs and went to the Rock Springs schools until his senior year when he moved to Topeka, KS and graduated from Hayden High School.
Fred loved his family and would do anything to help. He loved to bowl, travel, and his KC Chiefs and 57 Chevy’s. He also loved 50’s and 60’s music.
Survivors include his wife Anna Walters; children Fred L Walters, Wednesday (Darrick) Gray of Peculiar, MO and Charles Laird of Mission, Kansas; Brothers, Bernard (Linda), Charles Koss of MO., and James Koss of Topeka, a sister Judy (Hoot) Williamson of Tucson, AZ; Grandchildren Travis, Jaimie, Alexandria, Ethan, and Great-Grandchildren Kaelyn and Ayden.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Fred W. Walters, Neoma & Bernard Koss, Robert Koss, Ronald & Joel Walters and Delores Walters.
Celebration of life will be at 10:30am, Friday May 26th, 2023 at Parker Price in Topeka. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
