Ava Jean (Amon) White, 77, died on February 26, 2023 in Topeka, Kansas.

She was born on March 10, 1945 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Carl and Agnes Amon.

Mrs. White graduated from Topeka High School in 1963, and Washburn University in 1967 with a degree in accounting. She was married on January 25, 1964 to Marvin White.

Mrs. White loved thrift store shopping, reading romance novels, and sewing clothing and costumes for her children. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motorhome seeing family across the U.S. and Canada.

Mrs. White is survived by her spouse, Marvin; her two children and their spouses, Tamara (David) Miller and Marc (Jennifer) White; two grandchildren, Whitney (Cory) and Mikaela; two great grandchildren, Cole and Camden; two step grandchildren, Krista and David; and a sister in law, Viola.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her brothers Ryan and Duayne.

Visitation where family will greet friends will be on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Parker Price Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
