Marvin Leon "Marv" Hoffman, Jr., 67, of Topeka, passed away on January 31, 2023 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

He was born on April 5, 1955 to Marvin and LaVerne (Adkins) Hoffman in Topeka, Kansas.
Marv graduated from Rossville High School in 1973. After graduation, Marv worked on his family's farm for several years before starting his career in construction. He worked for Schmidtlein Excavating Inc. for over 20 years before retiring.

Marv married Stephanie McGinnis in May of 1974. Together they had 2 children, Traci and Jasen. They later divorced.

On June 22, 2002, he married Sherri Hoffman (Jordan-Wright) in Willard, Kansas. Together, they blended their family to include Jared Wright.

Marv loved visiting with family and friends. He enjoyed being outside, fishing and gardening. He was extremely prideful of his family, and loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Sherri; children, Traci Hoffman, Jasen (Kayla) Hoffman, Jared Wright; siblings, Pam Richey and Bill (Coy) Hoffman; grandchildren, Aidan Hoffman, Callan Hoffman, Brier Hoffman, Audrie Anderson, and Jackson Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kay Oller.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023, 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Parker-Price Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, 10:00 am at Parker Price Funeral Home

Graveside Service will follow at the Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission, Helping Hands Humane Society, or the CAT Association in Topeka.
