Jeffrey Horton, 61, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.
He was born November 16, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jerry and Carol (Grubb) Horton.
Jeffrey was employed in the Heavy Duty Auto Parts Industry for over 40 years, retiring in 2021.
Jeffrey married Vicki Horton on February 23, 1991 in Coffeyville, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father; Jerry Horton.
Survivors include wife; Vicki Horton, mother; Carol (Vincent Jay) Horton, daughters; Candace Handshumaker, Natalie Horton, son; Dustin (Andrea) Handshumaker, sister; Cathy (Rick) Nesbitt, brother; Kevin (Kelly) Horton, grandchildren; Alanna, Aliyah, Daetyn, Silas and many nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
Jeffrey was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Jeffrey’s life will be held at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604, Saturday January 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. Interment of the cremated remains will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Kidney Cancer Association, P.O. Box 676226, Dallas, TX 75267-6226.
