Dale met the love of his life, Laura Irwin, while attending Kansas State University. They later married on June 27, 2014. They have a one year old daughter, Opal Betty Kruger. Dale’s greatest joy was being a father. He loved reading to her, watching her grow and learn, and teaching her all the animal noises. He was also an amazing dog dad to Lady and Murphy.

He was passionate about being THE BEST uncle to McKinley (16), Camden (13), Kaeson (12), Kipton (12), Kenadi (11), Kelton (8), Kolter (4), and Briggs (1). Each niece and nephew had a special connection with Dale in their own unique way. One of their favorite traditions with him is the Kruger Family Fantasy Football League which he was the creator, commissioner, and 3-time champ.

Dale loved being outdoors, helping others, completing projects, attending K-State football games and tailgates, and cheering on the Chiefs. He loved spending time with his brothers, cousins, and close friends. Dale was known to keep others on their toes with his witty sense of humor.

Dale was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Betty (Nixon) Kruger.

Dale is survived by his wife and daughter of the home, his parents, brothers Shannon (Kari) Kruger, Kyle (Aubrey) Kruger, six nephews, and two nieces. They all reside in Silver Lake, KS. He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Howard and Louise (Cowan) Deiter of Maple Hill, KS.
