Raymond Glen Martin, 60, of Perry, passed away on August 29, 2022 at his home.

Ray was born on July 10, 1962 to Max and Martha (Crump) Martin in Topeka, Kansas.

He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1980. He attended Kaw Valley Technical School as an auto mechanic. Ray worked at Montgomery Wards and Farmland Meats. Ray then worked with the water department as a water pollution controller for the City of Topeka until he retired.

Ray loved to ride his motorcycle, smoking ribs, camping, and flying his RC Airplanes. He was a very proud grandfather and enjoyed teaching his family all he could. He loved his fish and feeding the hummingbirds out in his yard.

Raymond is survived by his loving partner, Inez Marie Horton; children, Matthew Martin, Cody Martin, Toby (Chloe) Martin, Tiffany (James) Goodrick, Stephanie (Ryan) Skinner, Cody Horton; grandchildren, Wyatt Goodrick, Aldawin Martin, Colten Goodrick, and Connor Skinner; siblings, Tina (Keith) Heumann, Max (Joann) Martin, Jr., and Darlene Martin; and his beloved fur baby, Coco.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel in Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral service will follow starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the RC Airplanes in care of the Foundation of Aeronautical Education.
