Peggy Joann Weixelman, 85, of Topeka, passed away on June 26, 2022 at her home.

She was born on July 29, 1936 to Ernest and Myrtle (Stevenson) Myrick in Topeka, KS.

Peggy attended East Topeka High School. After graduation, she worked at State Printer for a number of years. She later worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in the offices then moved to the plant where she helped build tires. Peggy retired from Goodyear after 32 years. After retirement she went back to work as a phlebotomist for Stormont Vail for 18 years before retiring.

Peggy loved to plant flowers in her garden. In her early years she bowled and was on bowling leagues. Peggy was an amazing mother and grandmother to all of her children. You could always find her at any of their events supporting them in all she could. She was always early to work, any event, or function. Peggy was always someone that you could count on. She loved her entire family, all of her friends, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Peggy is survived by her son, Larry Lundin; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Jeramiah and his spouse Jennifer, Jessica, Josh and his spouse Laura, Aiden and his mother, Shannon Pendleton, David and Keira and their mother, Amy Griffin; 12 great grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Jeremiah, Jasmine, Justin, Joseph, Jordan, Jaxon, Kyla, Keaton, Kosme, Karter; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her both of her parents; daughter, Debbie Spencer; siblings, Luther Myrick, Kenneth Myrick, Raymond Myrick, Don Myrick, Wayne Myrick, Dorothy Fry, Patty Turpin, and Marilyn Lewicki.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, 1:00 pm at the Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Topeka, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
