She was born on July 29, 1936 to Ernest and Myrtle (Stevenson) Myrick in Topeka, KS.

Peggy attended East Topeka High School. After graduation, she worked at State Printer for a number of years. She later worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in the offices then moved to the plant where she helped build tires. Peggy retired from Goodyear after 32 years. After retirement she went back to work as a phlebotomist for Stormont Vail for 18 years before retiring.

You could always find her at any of their events supporting them in all she could. She was always early to work, any event, or function. Peggy was always someone that you could count on. She loved her entire family, all of her friends, and she will be deeply missed by all.
