Michael E. Worthington, 70, of Topeka, passed away on May 27, 2022 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born on September 14, 1951 to Glen and Jayne Worthington in Topeka, KS.
Michael graduated from Seaman High School in 1969. On August 19, 1971, he married Pamela Beasterfeld in Topeka.
Michael loved to ride his motorcycle, go fishing, and golfing. He also made many trips up north to the casino to enjoy the evening. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family but especially his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy and could do no wrong. He watched many movies with Cody, read stories with Blake and rocked in his chair together, taught McKenzie math and bought her many stuffed animals. He was a very active grandpa in all their lives.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela; sons, Chris Worthington and Brent (Michelle) Worthington; grandchildren, Cody Worthington, Blake Worthington, Tyson Mayfield, and McKenzie Worthington; brothers, Mark Worthington and Monte Worthington.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 1:00 pm at the Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Topeka.
