Connie Sue Bisnett, 80, of Topeka, passed away on May 1, 2022 at the University of Kansas Health System - St. Francis Campus.

She was born on October 21, 1941 to Lawrence and Maxine (Chartier) Miller in Concordia, KS. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1959. She married Virgil Bisnett on September 2, 1960 in Concordia. Together she and Virgil had 3 children.

Connie was a homemaker her entire life. Her greatest joy was to raise her children and to make sure everyone was well taken care of. In her free time she loved to plant flowers and help tend the farm. She also enjoyed reading and attending her book club. Connie was very loved by her friends and family. She would always take the time to call, write, and visit making sure everyone felt special. She was very proud to be a grandma and especially excited to become a great grandma to Thora.

Connie is survived by her loving daughter, Vicky Bisnett; sisters, Janice Brownell and Debbie (Byron) Kim; grandchildren, Michelle (Jake) Wiens and Kyndra (Doug) Johnson; and great granddaughter, Thora Wiens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; both of her parents; children, Vera Kozubek and Randy Bisnett; grandson, Ryan Kozubek; and her brother, Gary Miller.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow starting at 11:00 am. Graveside Service will follow at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery in Meriden, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Leukodystrophy Foundation, 2304 Highland Drive, Sycamore, IL 60178 or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
