Mary Ann (Cheray) Osterhaus, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.

She was born April 7, 1935 in Seneca, Kansas, the daughter of Alphonse and Mary (Rilinger) Cheray.

Mary Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed drinking coffee and playing cards with her friends. Gardening brought her joy, both vegetables and flowers.

Mary Ann married Clarence Osterhaus on August 30, 1954.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence; children, Robert Osterhaus, John (Darlene) Osterhaus, Tom (Barbara) Osterhaus, Debra Haya, Carla (Rick) Fickel and Donald (Patti) Osterhaus; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, John Cheray, Alphonse “Herb” Cheray, and Rita Shoup.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Teresa Marie Cheray and Julie McBride; brother, Joe Cheray and grandson Matthew Fickel.

She will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. The family will greet friends starting at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of her Life will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence, Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
