Paul R. Valdivia Sr., 85, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born March 22, 1937, in Tecumseh, Kansas, the son of Florencio and Luisa (Rocha) Valdivia.
For 40+ years, he was employed by the Heumann Dental Lab prior to retiring.

He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Topeka. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Paul married Isabel Valdivia on May 24, 1974 in Topeka, Kansas. Survivors include a Wife, Isabel Valdivia, four daughters, Ramona (Michael) Rodriguez, Tania McNeive (Jeffery Hendrickson), Veronica (Paul) Adame, and Paula (Tony) Valdivia-Droge; two sons, Jose Calvillo (Bernadine Sena), & Paul (Beth) Valdivia, Jr; four brothers, John (Nancy) Valdivia, Florencio (Martha) Valdivia, Augustine (Kathy) Valdivia, and Ricardo (Mary) Valdivia; three sisters, Virginia (Joseph) Gonzales, Marie Delores (Ediberto) Gonzalez, and Patricia (Angel) Farias. Also survived by Paul are 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Florencio Valdivia, Mother, Luisa Valdivia, Brother, Rito Valdivia, Brother, Christopher Valdivia, Son-In-law, Danny L McNeive.

Paul will be remembered for enjoying playing fast pitch softball, spending time with his family, and his skills as a master gardener.

Visitation will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka from 3-7pm, with the Rosary beginning at 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm., Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 201 NE Chandler, Topeka, Kansas 66616.
