Chad David Brown, 53, of Olathe, passed away on January 13, 2022 at Olathe Hospice House.

He was born on September 17, 1968 to Ronald and Dona (Carter) Brown in Topeka, KS.

Chad graduated from Seaman High School in 1987 then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Washburn University. He later earned his Master's Degree in Education.

During college Chad worked for his family’s baseball card shop 'Brown's Baseball Cards' where he met numerous sports stars. Chad started his career teaching and coaching for the Seaman School District and McLouth High School.
He later transitioned to Olathe East High School where he dedicated over 15 years of his life teaching and coaching.

Chad spent many fun times as a member of the Indian Creek 4-H Club and his groups 3B and C.

He was a member of Seamen Congregational Church, Youth Group, and Windsongs. He is known for his rendition of The Little Drummer Boy.

Chad was an avid Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and KU fan.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Brown; both of his parents, Ron and Dona; his sister, Rona Brown; and his brother-in-law, Dave Payne.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Parker-Price Funeral Home in Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, 11:00 am at the Seaman Community Church in Topeka, Kansas. Graveside service will follow at Rochester Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the "Chad Brown Legacy Fund" and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home. 245 NW Independence Ave. Topeka, Kansas 66608.
