He was born on March 27, 1976 to Gary and Leah (Niehaus) McClain in Topeka, KS.
Marc attended Highland Park High School. After high school Marc became a free bird. He enjoyed shooting, frog hunting with his wife, mudding in his four wheeler, and throwing parties for all his friends.
Marc worked at Tevis Restaurant where he later met his soon to be wife, Cyndie. He also worked at Bradley's Corner Cafe, and 45th Street Restaurant. On April 20, 2004, Marc married Cynthia "Cyndie" McClain (Cohagen) in Topeka.
He enjoyed shooting, frog hunting with his wife, mudding in his four wheeler, and throwing parties for all his friends. Marc loved cooking and working as a cook. He enjoyed cooking for his family, making spaghetti, chicken Alfredo, and breakfast food. Marc was a WWE super fan. His favorite wrestlers were Ultimate Warrior, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sting, and the Undertaker. He was a bonfire enthusiast and enjoyed having a beer while watching it. Marc loved spending time with his children and sponsoring them in Nerf Gun wars. He was very proud of each one of them and considered them his greatest achievement.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Cyndie; children, Devvon Cox, Jason (Jazel Denton) McClain, Jazmin McClain, and Daxton Bixel; siblings, Matt (Debbie) and Luke McClain and Jonna McClain; aunts, Demarise and Maxine; uncles, Mike Howie and family, Rodney Neihaus and Jerry Neihaus; sister in law, April Cohagen and honorary sister, Tanya Hines; and his best friend, Bob "808" Henry.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; grandparents, Florence and Jack Neihaus; sister in law, Angi Cohagen; niece, Ashly Bracken; and uncle, Dale Johnson.
Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2021, 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Parker Price Funeral Home, Topeka, Kansas.
Funeral services will follow starting at 2:00 pm.
Memorials are suggested to the Kansas University Burn Unit.
