Carol Sue Jenks, 75, of Mayetta, passed away on December 1, 2021.

Sue was born on November 27, 1946 to Lester and Erma (Redenbaugh) Jenks in Topeka, KS.

Sue worked as a bookkeeper for Walgreens for 41 years before retiring.

Sue loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was Hailey's biggest fan while participating in the Special Olympics. Sue was very proud of all of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. She enjoyed going to garage sales with her family, playing bingo with her sisters, making casino trips with her family, and getting manicures and pedicures. Sue also had an ornery side and knew how to make you laugh.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Terry) Hansford; grandchildren, Breeanna (Jeff) Soendker, Hailey Hansford, and Brenden Hansford; great grandchildren, Eastyn Soendker and Ensley Soendker; and siblings, Lois (Bob) Holmes, Judy Murphy, and Bill (Dana) Jenks.
