He was born October 12, 1990, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Ervin "Jr" and Edwina Pickering.
When he was younger, Benjamin enjoyed playing video games and watching wrestling. His favorite animals were pandas and dogs. He also enjoyed watching KC Chiefs football and KU Basketball. He was a very caring person and enjoyed taking care of others.
Survivors include his parents; siblings, Trevor Pickering, Erika (Caleb) Pickering-Skinner and Alexandria Pickering; and Grandmother, Shirley Felman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Edwin Pickering and Ervin (Sharon) Pickering, Sr., and great- grandmother, Lorene Strimple.
A celebration of Benjamin’s life will be on October 16, 2021 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Parker Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608.
