Flora E. Spotts, 93, of Topeka, passed away on September 21, 2021 at Lexington Park Nursing Home.

She was born on September 14, 1928 to Chester and Agnes (Gordon) Hartzell in Topeka, KS.

Flora graduated from Topeka High School. Flora was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed preserving fruits and vegetables from the family garden. Flora also collected light houses and cardinals. She loved to play the piano. Flora was a charter member of the Oakland Church of the Nazarene. Her and her husband George helped build the church. She was a dedicated, faithful member who held various positions in the church.

On March 15, 1955, she married George E. Spotts in Topeka.

Flora is survived by her Daughters, Pamela (Joe) Garrison, Bethel (Clarence) Davidson, Rhonda Spotts, Denise Spotts, and Yvonne Spotts; Sister, Ida Daniels; and a host of extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 61 years, George; both of her parents; Sister, Florence Roberts; and Brother, Allen Hartzell.

Flora will lie in state at Parker Price Funeral Home on Monday, September 27, from Noon until 5:00 pm at Parker Price Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, 2:00 pm at the Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave. Topeka, Kansas 66608.
