Paul Burge, 70, of Topeka, passed away on August 23, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

He was born on December 12, 1950 to John and Pauline (Thompson) Burge in Wayne, MI.
After high school, Paul served in the United States Marines and served in the Vietnam War.

Paul was a family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also was very involved with Martial Arts for many years. Together he, his wife, and brother owned their own Karate School called Burge's Kenpo Karate. Paul also was an avid fisherman in his early years and loved to be outside.

On July 31, 1982, Paul married Jeannie Burge (Schmidt) in Topeka. Paul and Jeannie lived in Topeka, Kansas and together had three children.

Paul is survived by loving Wife of 39 years, Jeannie; Brother, John (Virginia K.) Burge; Sons, Paul (Danielle Cobb) J. Burge, Aaron (Chelsea Seevers) R. Burge, and Matt (Kylie Halstead) A. Burge; and 9 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; Sisters, Grace V. Burghart, Lois E. Silva, and infant sister Betty Ann Burge.

Graveside Inurnment will take place on April 23, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Celebration of Life will be held at Snyder Cabin at Gage Park located at 800 SW Porter Rd, Topeka, KS 66606 to follow, starting at 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
