Elizabeth J. Roderick, 94, of Topeka, passed away on June 8, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

She was born on October 30, 1926 to Peter and Florence (Ehrhart) Weigel in Topeka, KS.

She graduated from Capital City Catholic High School in 1944. Elizabeth married William Albert Roderick on October 19, 1946. She worked various jobs throughout her life, including Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Topeka Auction House, and Zercher Photo.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Albert (Alice) Roderick, Marilyn (David) McKee, and Barbara (Phil) Parker; grandchildren, Kimberly Roderick, Christina Roderick, Tara (Steven) VanWagoner, Christopher (Nicole) Parker, Scott Parker, and Laurie Parker; four great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Albert Roderick; both of her parents; brother, Peter Weigel, Jr.; sisters, Magdalena Guyer and Maxine Weigel.

Rosary will be prayed Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Topeka, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or Helping Hands Humane Society.
