Robert Wayne Reiter, 75, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021.

He was born July 21, 1945, in Colony, Kansas, the son of John and Imogene (Patrick) Reiter. He attended high school at Crest High School in Colony, Kansas.

Robert was employed by the Topeka State Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 1999.

Robert married Carolyn Potter on November 27, 1970 in Emporia, Kansas. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2000. Survivors include his son, Brian (Signey) Reiter; grandchildren, Jessica Quiett, Branson Reiter, Kayla Reiter, and Amanda Reiter; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Roberta Mang, Donna Korthals, John Reiter, Francis Reiter, and Pearl Lampe. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Bain.

A private burial will take place and a Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS, 66604-3720.
