1950 - 2021

Lonnie Wayne Silver, 70, passed away at his home on January 14, 2021. Lonnie was born on November 22, 1950 in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Lawrence B. and Grace (Armstrong) Silver. He grew up and lived in the North Topeka area all of his life.

He was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. After returning home, he worked at GoodYear Tire and Rubber Company, General Foods, was a Carpenter for Local Union 1443, and retired from Kendall Construction.

Lonnie loved to spend his time outside, doing any outdoor activities, especially golfing and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Silver, and sister, Sharyn Riley.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Celia Jean Silver; daughter, Kelsey Louise Silver, both of Topeka; and sister, Karon Sue Roby, Florida.

Funeral Service will be 10am Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Parker-Price Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kelsey Silver in care of the funeral home, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608, to be designated at a later date.
