Bonnie Jean Tice, 95, of Topeka, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021.

She was born September 11, 1925, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Ella (Sieber) Hess. She graduated from Seaman High School 1943.

Bonnie was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone for 12 years, retiring in 1992.

She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and at the Security Benefit Preschool working with infants and toddlers. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family and the neighbor kids, reading, playing cards and games at home, and baking pies and various treats.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Tice; grandson, Scott Lynn; granddaughter, Jessica Tice; friends: Viola Gehrke, Barbara Mason, and Elizabeth Valente. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Lynn; son, James Tice; Sisters: Betty Michael, Frances Whitehead, Faye Stewart and Fern Hess; brothers: Frank Hess, Jr., Robert Hess and Earl Hess.

The family will greet family and friends 3:00 pm- 7:00pm on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Parker Price Funeral Home, 245 N.W. Independence Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608. A Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66614. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS, 66604-3720 or American Cancer Society, Topeka 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS, 66604.
