Judy, Jeff, Jackie & family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Bob has always held a special spot with me. I have great memories of time spent at Pickett Fence. We never had a loss of things to talk about! I will always remember the time I described an animal that was blocking the door to the shop, and how I went after it. The look on his face was priceless. It was a Badger and boy, did I get a lesson on never going after a Badger :). I have many wonderful memories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to take Bob from the “Bob and Judy” that were so much of my teenage memories. I didn’t know Bob as an adult, but I can imagine him as such—kind, witty and gentle—as he was in high school. He always treated me, the bumbling, stumbling girl from the backwoods with respect and thoughtfulness. He will always be an admired figure for me, and many others, as I recall Mayetta High School history.
I am so sorry, Judy.

Bob and I attended schools in Mayetta together from grade 1 to Seniors in High School. I was never on a sports team during those years that Bob was not on also. Bob, his brother Dick and Gale Jager were my main social group. We played cards together in the evenings, sports after school, etc. During high school Bob and I double dated a few times and attended the same Junior Senior Dances at Mayetta High.
I have many fond memories of Bob but one of the most fun is his poetry. There were times in the 5th or 6th grades when we were assigned to write poems. Bob’s were hilarious. I remember one about his chicken that was something like a Dr. Seuss rhyme, and was a true work of art.
My deepest sympathy to Judy and the children. God Bless and stay safe during these difficult times.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your father. We knew he was not well, but the passing of a parent is never easy, especially at a time like this. May you find comfort in good memories of him to see you through the most difficult parts.

Judy, was saddened when I heard of your dear husbands passing. Just know my husband and I are thinking of you. I was not acquainted with your husband, but was going to Northland Church when we would see you and Bob at times. May God be with you and your children during this time of loss. Our prayers are with you.

I served with Bob when we went to Colorado in 1968. He was my sargent when I was a gunner on the 106 jeep mounted rifle. I knew when he said something you could trust him to back you and help you in what ever needed to be done. He was a great friend when we were there.

Bob was an interesting person to be around, always kind and considerate to be around. Years ago reluctantly too on task of coaching Mayetta's Women's softball team, which I was part of. Enjoyed being family with him. Will miss spending time with him.

Judy and family, you all have my sincerest love. Both you and Bob and all the family made me feel so welcomed when I came to Mayetta. You and Bob were so loving and kind to us when we needed it. I always thought of Bob as the quiet joker who always had a smile. Good man. Thank you again for your being our friend.
