She was born June 23, 1956, in Shannon, Mississippi, the daughter of Hoyt and Nellie "Ruth" (Brown) Hallmark. She graduated from Clarks Business College.
Judy was employed with Wilch Manufacturing, Greenbrier Realty and later USD 501.
She was a past member of Seaman Baptist Church, Soroptimist International of Topeka and Women's Topeka Bowling Association.
Judy married Everett C. Mongold, Jr. on November 19, 1971 in Raytown, Missouri. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Michael (Pam) Mongold, Alma, KS; grandson, Reynold Mongold, Alma, KS; two sisters, Virginia Smith, Topeka and Teresa Reuter, Meriden, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Hallmark.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2019 at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Rochester Cemetery.
