In Memory Of
David E. Jacques
1954 - 2019
He was born on December 29, 1954 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Lloyd and Norma “Jeannie” Jacques. He graduated from Seaman High School, the class of 1972.
On November 22, 1986, David was united in marriage to Vickie Hanrahan in Topeka.
David was employed by several different heating and air-conditioning companies, and in 1990 he opened his own business - DJ’s Heating & Air-Conditioning.
David was a kind, laid back person, known for being someone that would help anyone with anything at a moments notice. He had a great love for music and in his younger years, played guitar in several bands. He also enjoyed being outside, whether working in the yard, grilling for the family, or relaxing by a fire and throwing horseshoes with family and friends. But most of all, his favorite activity was any that included spending time with his family - they were his greatest enjoyment.
David is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Jacques; daughter, Dione Jacques; son, Steven (Ariel) Jacques; son, Michael Jacques; son, Dylan Jacques; daughter, Andrea Jacques; granddaughters, Paiton and Marleigh Frazier; brother, Darrel (Renee) Jacques; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Jeannie Jacques and infant brother, Paul Jacques.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial at Prairie Home Cemetery will take place at a later date.
