He was born January 2, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Dean and Martha (Meyer) Massey. He graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School.
Sheldon married Ronda Smith in 1985. Together they shared three children, Starla, Deana and Dylan. They later divorced.
Sheldon is survived by his children, Starla (Steve) Trimble of Chetopa, KS; Deana (Kirk) Bowers of Harveyville, KS and Dylan Massey of Harveyville, KS; his parents Dean and Martha Massey of Topeka; three brothers, Doug (Theresa) Massey of Topeka; Scott (Shari) Massey of Chetopa, KS and Dennis (Teresa) Massey of Topeka; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Parker-Price Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service at Parker-Price Reception Center.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608.
