Virginia “Ginger” Lee Roberts, 81, Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019.
She was born June 4, 1938, in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was employed with the state of Kansas for over 10 years. She enjoyed waitressing and bartending.

Virginia married Jimmy Roberts on November 26, 1985. He survives. Other survivors include three children, Grace (Wes) Kennedy; Todd Lee Bean; Kimberly Bean Rose; four grandchildren, Ginger Marie Rose, Joseph (Brooke) Rose, Ryan (Carla) Kennedy and LesLee (Barry) Nelson and nine great-grandchildren.

Virginia loved fishing, watching dirt racing and shopping. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching birds and squirrels eat from the feeders. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation reception will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 10am-12noon at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604.
