Barbara Ann Westbrook, 72, Valley Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

She was born December 14, 1946, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, the daughter of Loyd and Naomi (Stevens) Plemons. She graduated from Highland Park High School.

On March 7, 1964, she married William Lee Westbrook in Topeka. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2001. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gail Leighty and Pamela Plemons.

Barbara married John E. Gordon on October 4, 2011 in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives. Other survivors include her children: Dawn (Lynn) Thompson, Wakarusa; Darla (Max) Westbrook-Hamilton, Holton; Erin (Jason) Hancock, Topeka; William Ashley (Joann) Westbrook, Valley Falls and Ellie Gordon, Valley Falls; grandchildren: Jessica (Steve) Heinen, Austin (Donnie) Winter, William Dalton Westbrook, Alayna Westbrook, Zachary Hancock and Zayne Hancock; great-grandchildren: Kaylee Heinen and Hunter Heinen; two siblings: Judy (John) Shipley, Valley Falls and Tom (Dianne) Plemons, Topeka; step-children: Shawn (Jolene) Gordon, Kari Gordon and Janey (Landon) Powe and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Friday, March 8, 2019 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow at Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00pm-7:30pm Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
