Jack "Galen" Payne, age 64, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Francis in Topeka, Kansas. Per his wishes, Galen was cremated and no church services will be held. Galen was born March 6, 1954 in Edmond, Oklahoma, the son of Jack and Jewell Payne.

He was known as Galen to all of his family and friends and Papa by all of his little ones. He was a successful welder; traveling the country with his work and his biggest accomplishment was installing the Alaskan Pipeline. He was a simple man who loved humor and his family.
