She was born August 29, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of James and Elzora (Marney) Homan. She graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1974. Judi was an Administrative Assistant at the Department of Education for over 30 years.
On November 16, 1974, she married Bob Kutzke in Topeka, he survives. Other survivors include their daughter, Lisa Kutzke (Troy Cook), Perry; three siblings: Mike Homan (Marilyn), Barb Kutzke (Randy) all of Topeka and Pattie Homan, Silver Lake and four grandchildren, Paige, Bailey, Brayden and Kamden.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judi loved KU basketball, her dogs and granddogs. She had a dazzling personality, was incredibly witty and always had everyone smiling and laughing.
A celebration of Judi’s life will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. The family asks that you wear your favorite KU or red, white and blue apparel to honor Judi. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Topeka.
A reception will immediately follow the graveside service at Parker-Price Reception Center.
