She was born October 2, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Larry and Patricia Stewart. She received an Associate’s degree in Human Service and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Washburn University.
CeLeste was employed with Memorial Hospital, Menninger’s, Break Through House, Shawnee Community Mental Health and Sunflower Supports.
CeLeste was united with Ali Pontious on October 10, 1998 and officially married on October 10, 2015, she survives. Other survivors include her children: Michael (Sarah) Anderson, Monique Hund and Mariah Hund (Miguel Roman); brothers, Larry Stewart and Shawn Stewart and six grandchildren: Cameron Cornelius, Evan Cornelius, Nevaeh Johnson, Kieley Anderson, Shannyn Anderson, Maizey Roman and number 7 due in May.
She loved Elvis, enjoyed traveling to Graceland, going to the beach, photography and spending time with her family.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with memorial services to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka, KS 66608 to later be given to organizations that helped CeLeste.
