Gary Stout, 70, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018.
He was born July 26, 1948, in Independence, Kansas, the son of Wayne and Margaret (Casey) Stout. He received a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering from Wichita State University.
Gary was employed by Westar Energy for 32 years.
Gary married Carole Stout on January 13, 1989 in Wichita, KS. She survives.
Other survivors include sister, Marilyn Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael D. Stout.
Gary enjoyed RVing, cruising with his wife and loved his puppies: Heidi and Humphrey.
Gary would like to thank his nurses; Lindsey and Kristi for all of their love and doctors; Ficek and Einspahr.
A graveside memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6th & Gage. A lunch will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 4525 NW Button Rd, Topeka, KS 66618.
