George E. Radford, 83, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

He was born on May 23, 1934 to Caleb Lee and Alice Radford.

George worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber where he earned the nickname “Junkie” because of his love for all things old or antique. He enjoyed antique cars and participating in the parades with the Arab Shrine and the 32 Roadsters.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge Golden Rule 90, Arab Shrine, and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his loving wife, (Dixie Williams) Radford, and they proudly celebrated 50 years together. He is also survived by a son, David Radford (Ann); daughters, Pamela Radford, and Robin Ruff; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Mike and Scott Radford; and four brothers.

The family will host a reception at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Parker-Price Reception Center, 1940 NW Central Avenue, Topeka.

Private burial will take place at Rochester Cemetery.
