Sylvia Katherine (Pierce) Faith, 70, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, at her home in Meriden, KS.

Sylvia was born September 10, 1947 to Edward and Dorothy (Rice) Pierce. She graduated from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. Sylvia married Richard Allen Faith, Sr. on February 24, 1973 in Lexington, MO. Together they had two sons. They were longtime members of Jefferson Assembly of God Church in Meriden. She worked for Jostens from 1993 to 2000. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and listening to music. Sylvia loved her family especially her sisters and grandbabies.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard Allen Faith, Jr. and Nathan (Stacey) Faith; four grandchildren, Richard Allen “Tres” Faith III, Errika L. Faith, Randolph Christian Faith, and Andrew Jackson Faith; and two sisters, Margie Pennington and Vickie (John) Stegg.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Jefferson Assembly of God Church, 8640 Clark Road, Meriden, KS 66512. Interment will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
