Delbert LeRoy Kahler, 73, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

He was born April 5, 1945, in Dover, Kansas, the son of LeRoy and Rocksie (Taber) Kahler. He graduated from Dover High School.

Delbert was a sheet metal fabricator with Tower Metal Works, retiring after over 20 years. He was a member of the NRA.

Delbert married Ethel White on April 21, 1979. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Charles Kahler and Margie (Mark) Baum, all of Topeka; two sisters, Elsie (John) Cromika, Kadizz, OH and Mary (the late Mike) Bump, Wichita; four grandchildren, Tanna (Jared) Bryant, Madison (Nathaniel) Born, Andrew Baum and Allison Baum; three great-grandchildren, four nephews and one niece.

Delbert enjoyed guns and fishin’.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Dover Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mater Dei Parish Building Fund, 911 SW Clay St., Topeka, KS 66606.
