Linda was born August 7, 1948, in Leavenworth, KS, to Mervyn Cyril and Marguerite Elizabeth (Korth) Donnell. She graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1966 and later attended the University of Kansas. She married her high school sweetheart, William A. Hollingshead on August 16, 1969, in Leavenworth, KS. Together they had two children, Jennifer and Caroline. She operated her own daycare for many years until she became the activity coordinator at Presbyterian Manor. Linda was a longtime member of Rolling Hill Christian Church. One of her greatest joys was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; two daughters, Jennifer (David) Lotspeich and Caroline (Matthew) Yoakum; and seven grandchildren, Amelia, Zoe, Joshua, Abigail, Caleb, Jonathan and Adam.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Deanna Mahaffey.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Rolling Hills Christian Church, 4530 NW Hiawatha Place, Topeka, KS 666618. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, at Parker-Price Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Hills Christian Church.
