Sandra Sue (Delfelder) Long, 57, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, at Stormont Vail Hospital.

Sandra was born April 16, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas. She was a graduate of Seaman High School and worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas where she retired after 34 years to travel and enjoy her grandchildren. She enjoyed motorcycle rides, bowling, playing softball, Royals games and time spent with friends and loved ones. She did her best to have a positive attitude and lift the spirits of those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Martin Long; son, Travis Long; daughter, Stephanie (Jared) Henke of Kyoto, Japan; three (soon-to-be four) grand babies, Micaiah, Mia and Macy; mother, Judy Delfelder; four brothers, Chuck Delfelder, Jim (Cindy) Delfelder, Joe (Marj) Delfelder, and Mick Delfelder.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, John Delfelder.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Burial will follow. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mustard Seed Network c/o Parker-Price Funeral Home.
